Commercial Concrete Driveways

Built for the traffic the site is designed to carry. Installed to fit the plans, grades and surrounding sitework.

We Install Commercial Concrete Driveways for site Development Projects

Jennings Concrete installs commercial concrete driveways for site development projects. These driveways are part of how vehicles move into and through the site, particularly where delivery trucks, service vehicles and other heavy traffic are expected.

We build them as shown in approved plans and work to applicable South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and project requirements. Our work is coordinated with the surrounding site so the concrete driveway connects properly with the curb, pavement, sidewalks and other improvements being built around it.

We quote the work from project plans and details so the concrete scope is clear during estimating and carries into the field the same way.

Built to the Approved Driveway Detail

Commercial driveways are designed around the traffic the site is expected to carry. Width, curb openings, turning geometry, concrete thickness, reinforcement and grades can all change depending on the vehicles using the entrance and the requirements of the project.

Jennings follows the approved driveway detail and layout. Where the plans call for specific concrete thickness or reinforcement and those items are part of our contracted scope, we include them in the work.

We also work to the approved elevations established for the driveway so the concrete ties into the surrounding site as intended. If the driveway extends into SCDOT right-of-way, we coordinate our portion with the contractor and the project requirements already in place.

Part of the Larger Sitework Package

Commercial driveway work has to fit both the site and the schedule. Jennings coordinates with the sitework contractor so our concrete is placed when grades and surrounding work are ready, helping avoid conflicts and unnecessary rework.

These entrances often carry heavy commercial traffic, so the driveway section, reinforcement and geometry matter. We build what is shown in the plans and coordinate around drainage, access and right-of-way conditions that affect our scope.
